Professor Hilary McCallion CBE provides leadership development and coaching to individuals, groups, and organisations.

Since 1999 she has facilitated a twice-yearly national leadership programme and, more recently, developed ‘Leadership in Care’ offering both national and inhouse programmes for ward managers and team leaders. Hilary draws on her rich experience and expertise not only in the practical application of development tools but in supporting individuals to both develop and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their impact on others.

Hilary has worked in clinical practice, education and management within the NHS, culminating in the role of  Executive Director of Nursing and Education at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation, a position she held for 15 years. She continues to be an Independent Governor at London South Bank University and a Non-Executive Director at Ashford and St. Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust.
